Even wedding photographers take vacations, sort of. The photo above is of Kelly and I, off the back of the ferry to Sausalito, taken by a random tourist. We were in San Francisco for a few days before driving south on highway 1 to a resort near Avila beach. We then shot a wedding at Pismo beach.

Leeya and Dave were married at Tina’s Country House in Macomb Twp. The best part of this location is all the flowers around the ceremony site. Tina’s also hosted the couple’s reception. It was a great summer party. Click HERE to see more of their photos.

Becky and Jay were married in Michigan State University’s Alumni Chapel. I loved the chapel and all it’s stained glass. Even better is the back yard which is right on river that twists through campus. After their ceremony the bride and groom walked to the reception in the Union Ballroom. The reception ended by 4pm, which left the couple alone with Kelly and I for a few more photos. These last images, walking in the heart of MSU, are my favorite from the day. Jessica and Matt had both their ceremony and reception at Clinton Township’s Fernhill Golf Club. Their day felt like a rock star’s wedding. Partly because the majority of the groomsmen are all in a ska band. Click HERE to see more of their photos.
