Ann Arbor – Ingalls Mall – U of M Campus

Wedding at Ingalls Mall & Michigan League Ballroom
Jen and her bridesmaids got ready at the Burnt Toast Inn before riding a trolley to the ceremony. After a solid week of rain Jen and Kevin had the perfect weather for their outside ceremony at Ingalls Mall on the campus of the University of Michigan. A reception followed at the Michigan League. We had the pleasure of working again with the excellent coordinators from TwoFootCreative. The color images in this post were processed with the “Regular Color” profile. Ann Arbor Fall at U of M’s Nichols Arboretum – 101410

I had a nice fall hike through the University of Michigan’s Nichols Arboretum with Jen & Kevin. I’ll get to photograph their wedding May 2011 in Ann Arbor. Lucky for me they are also working with a great planner, Ana from Two Foot Creative

Tilt-Shift, Ingalls Mall, University of Michigan
Lindsay, Dave and their wedding party had pictures all over Downtown Ann Arbor. They had a ceremony at Ingalls Mall on the lawn between the Michigan League & the Bell Tower, then a reception at the Michigan Union. Big thanks to Ana, the best wedding coordinator, from TwoFoot Creative and Mary Ann, a great DJ, from maprodj.
“These photos turned out so beautifully- just like all the others! I am so happy that we had you with us on our very special day. I am always uncomfortable in front of a camera- always!- but somehow you made me comfortable. And you managed to capture all of the details, the mood of the day, and all of our joy!
I would tell anyone who is has a wedding coming up to ask the two of you to be their photographers. There really is nothing worse than having an awkward, weird, pretentious photographer at your wedding- and you both are the exact opposite! It was like having a friend with us throughout the day instead of a stranger following us around.
What more could we ask for- beautiful pictures and great company!” – Lindsay and David

Heather and Daniel held their ceremony at Calvary Missionary Church in Livonia. The wedding party visited downtown Plymouth for a few photos after the ceremony. The day concluded with a reception at Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor.

Marie and Dave were married in the courtyard of the Kensington Court Hotel of Ann Arbor. The reception following was held in one of the hotel’s halls. Before the ceremony we took a tour of U of M’s campus for photo stops at the Law Quad and outside The Big House.

Shannon and Ryan were married at First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor. The reception following was held in The Atrium at St. John’s Golf & Conference Center in Plymouth. We also had the pleasure of working again with our videographer friends from EPICmotion.com.
081906 – Emily and Aaron
Emily and Aaron held their wedding at The Michigan League in the heart of Ann Arbor’s University of Michigan. The reception following was held in the Michigan League’s grand ballroom. We love shooting on U of M’s campus, there’s never a shortage of stunning backdrops.
061006 – Angie and Phil

Angie and Phil had a unique and beautiful ceremony amidst the peonies of the University of Michigan’s Nichols Arboretum. Following the garden party, Ann Arbor’s Four Points Sheraton hosted a reception of dinner, dancing and a live performance by Jazz pianist/vocalist Amy K. Bormet.
081205 – Christine and Noah

Christine and Noah got married in the Chapel at Tri-City Christian Center in Canton. Their chapel is one of my favorites because of how much natural light fills the alter from the room’s sky light. Between ceremony and reception the bridal party had pictures taken at Canton’s Heritage Park. Reception was hosted by Weber’s Inn in Ann Arbor.
073005 – Andrea and Joe
Picking our favorite weddings each year would be like picking your favorite kid. Kelly and I think ALL of our weddings come out great, but we keep talking about the wedding of Andrea and Joe. Photos started with each half of the wedding party separately at the Mill Pond Park in Saline, MI. The ceremony was in the First Assembly of God in Saline and the reception was at Ann Arbor’s famous Weber’s Inn. In between the ceremony and reception the bridal party hung-out in the University of Michigan’s scenic “Law Quad”. Andrea and Joe also had a Trolley service driving the wedding party around all day!
