Since I was already in Chicago for the weekend… I meetup with Laura & Vorrel at their Bucktown apartment for some engagement portraits. With some help we found a way up onto an abandoned rail line.

Katie and MIke’s Detroit Yacht club wedding was classic. Great location and fun subjects. Their wedding planner, Shelly Andrus from Simplicity, was on hand to help the day go smooth and DJ Kurt Lewis kept the dance floor packed.

Light Writing with Sparklers at The Captain’s Club, Woodfield
Krystal and Mike’s wedding day started with a lot of rain but by the end of their ceremony at The Rock Church the sun had come out and it was gorgeous. I followed the bridal party to a park in downtown Fenton for photos before a Reception at the Captain’s Club at Woodfield. The Captain’s Club was great. Funky, Artistic Colors in Rochester: Oak Arbor & La Sala
Emily and Jimmy just had their wedding ceremony at the gorgeous Oak Arbor Church north of Rochester Michigan. We did some photos in Downtown Rochester even though it was raining. They a reception at La Sala followed. Kevin Joynt from Mike Staff Productions provided the soundtrack and all the guests enjoyed the Shutter Booth.
Lovett Hall, Henry Ford Wedding – 032710
Wedding with a tour of the Henry Ford Museum
Steph and Nick’s ceremony was held in Westland at the Prayer Baptist Church. They then had a reception at Lovett Hall at the Henry Ford. We even had a chance to tour the Henry Ford Museum while it was closed!

Heather and Daniel held their ceremony at Calvary Missionary Church in Livonia. The wedding party visited downtown Plymouth for a few photos after the ceremony. The day concluded with a reception at Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor.

Kate, Jeff and their families celebrated their vows at the plush Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester. The hotel is one of the best places for a cold weather wedding in Michigan.

Married in a small ceremony, Stephanie and Jeff hosted a family celebration/wedding reception weeks later at the Pine Knob Mansion in Clarkston. While a video of their ceremony played, guests roamed the grounds of the mansion before dinner was served. It was a beautiful, sunny April afternoon.
