Ceremony & Reception at the Detroit Athletic Club
Darin & Jason had their wedding and reception at the historic DAC. The day ran smooth with the help of Laura Allis Events. Reception music & entertainment provided by The Killer Flamingos Band (who I LOVE!!!) The DAC is one of my favorite downtown locations to work, its gorgeous and the staff is amazing. Metro Beach Park on Lake St. Clair
Dawn & Nick had their ceremony & reception in the Metro Beach park on Lake St. Clair. I was raining just before their outside ceremony but it soon cleared up. Erin and Irwin had a very unique wedding in Chicago. Their ceremony and reception was inside a very cool store called Architectural Artifacts. Just a short drive a way from the Lake Michigan shore. The second of 2 wedding at The Whitney for me on the same weekend (1890′s mansion on Woodward). Tiffany & Odell had their Ceremony outside in the gardens, dinner downstairs and dancing on the second floor. After the ceremony the wedding party took photos around downtown Detroit.

Brittany & Jeremy were married in downtown Ann Arbor’s First Baptist Church. After the ceremony the bridal party visited their favorite pub: Grizzly Peak. A reception and wild party followed at Weber’s Inn.

Angie and Cliff were married at St. John Lutheran church in Romeo. The bridal party and I had a chance to hangout in downtown Romeo for some photos. We also visited a nearby farm. A reception followed at the Palazzo Grande in Shelby Twp., MI.

I had a nice fall hike through the University of Michigan’s Nichols Arboretum with Jen & Kevin. I’ll get to photograph their wedding May 2011 in Ann Arbor. Lucky for me they are also working with a great planner, Ana from Two Foot Creative

Jen and Greg were married at Christ the Redeemer church in Lake Orion. The Bridal party and I hit the Royal Oak Brewery after the ceremony. A Reception at the Detroit Zoo followed. They even had a live band: The Spirit of 76.

Beth & Patrick did their engagement photos in Detroit, starting and ending in Greektown. Beth put a lot of energy into finding just the right outfits for each of them. I did some vintage looking cross-processing to the photos. I think this coloring complements the city backdrop and their atire.
Their wedding is Next July at the Central United Methodist Church in Detroit with a reception following at Cherry Creek Golf.

Jen and her ladies got ready at Downtown Rochester’s Royal Park Hotel. Their ceremony was held out in the woods at Stoney Creek Metropark. It was SO COOL. I thought a little vintage stylized cross-processing would complement the forest. Reception followed in a tent on the lake there at Stoney Creek. Live Band provided by the groom’s friends.
