Cherry Creek Golf Fireworks

Cherry Creek Golf Wedding with fireworks
The day started out with rain but eventually cleared up. After a ceremony at St. Paul of Tarus Church the bridal party stopped at Gus O’ Conner’s Irish Pub in Rochester. We did some photos in downtown Rochester before heading to Cherry Creek Golf Club (a JLBwedding favorite). The night ended with fireworks! At this wedding I also had the pleasure of working with Jamie Honce and the rest of his team at 3rd street films. They are some of the best videographers in Michigan.
Vintage Sycamore Sunset

Vintage Style Wedding Photos, Sunset at Sycamore Hills
Kristi and Dave were so much fun to shoot. They had a ceremony at Lakeside Bible Chapel & Reception at Sycamore Hills Golf. Just before leaving for their honeymoon they changed clothes and ran through a tunnel of giant sparklers. You can’t just get these sparklers anywhere, best to pre-order them online. sparklersonline.com

Rain at Cherry Creek

Jill and Justin held their ceremony & reception at Cherry Creek Golf in Shelby Twp. Rain threatened the outside ceremony but held off till right in the middle of our romantic shots of the bride & groom. The rain didn’t stop anyone from having a great day. This wedding’s gorgeous flowers were done by Creative Events. I highly recommend them.

Plymouth and the Inn At St. Johns

Wedding at the Inn at St. John’s
Jennifer and Ross had their ceremony & reception at St. John’s in Plymouth. Rain was expected all day but it never came. We even enjoyed some sunshine at Kellogg Park between the ceremony & reception. This reception was lucky enough to have one of my favorite DJs: Wayne Kinney from Rockout Entertainment.
School Pride – University of Michigan

Tilt-Shift, Ingalls Mall, University of Michigan
Lindsay, Dave and their wedding party had pictures all over Downtown Ann Arbor. They had an outdoor ceremony at Ingalls Mall on the lawn between the Michigan League & the Bell Tower, then a reception at the Michigan Union. Big thanks to Ana, the best wedding coordinator, from TwoFoot Creative and Mary Ann, a great DJ, from maprodj.
“These photos turned out so beautifully- just like all the others! I am so happy that we had you with us on our very special day. I am always uncomfortable in front of a camera- always!- but somehow you made me comfortable. And you managed to capture all of the details, the mood of the day, and all of our joy!
I would tell anyone who is has a wedding coming up to ask the two of you to be their photographers. There really is nothing worse than having an awkward, weird, pretentious photographer at your wedding- and you both are the exact opposite! It was like having a friend with us throughout the day instead of a stranger following us around.
What more could we ask for- beautiful pictures and great company!” – Lindsay and David
