The Colony Club is a wedding venue in Detroit, Michigan. Originally it opened in 1929 the Colony Club. It is nestled inside Detroit’s Fox Town Neighborhood. Housing several ballrooms the Colony Club can accommodate an event of up to 400 guests. Every year I’m lucky enough to photograph a few weddings here. Hopefully this post will provide an idea of the spaces in this venue.

There are many ways to use the ballroom space. Above all, make it yours.

Another plus to this venue is the ability to also host your ceremony here.

“I fell in love with with venue the first time I saw pictures online. The ballroom is absolutely breathtaking and it made for the most magical night. Not only is the appearance of the venue amazing, but the staff is so accommodating and easy to work with, and the food was to die for. The staff kept the drinks flowing and the bar lines to a minimum. Many of our guests complemented the food. Many guests also complimented the night, saying it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. Being at the Colony Club, played a huge part in that I’m sure.”

In addition, one bonus of a Detroit wedding are the surrounding neighborhoods. The following scenes are immediately surrounding the Colony Club. Downtown and even more city backdrops are just a short ride away.

Sweet Heather Anne made several of the cakes featured here. Jen House was responsible for some of the floral and table designs. In conclusion, be sure to checkout one of my season highlight collections. After that, the wedding packagepricing, and read my FAQs
